Across every age and culture, humanity has bowed to the feminine face of the divine, in ancient river goddesses, cave paintings of prehistoric mothers, in the many names by which the sacred feminine has been called and cherished. Much of the world has since moved away from that reverence. The turbulent times we now find ourselves in are an invitation to return to that worship, to turn within and invoke the powerful energy of the Divine Feminine once more.
Navratri is a nine-night tradition, rooted in ancient Indian culture, honoring the feminine energy in its many forms. This year, we shall celebrate it across our neighborhood, moving from studio to studio, using the framework of the chakra system.
Offering: Join Ramaa and Laura at Soulshine on October 15th for a beautiful evening of meditation, a smudging blessing, crystal healing, and a self-love sound bath centered around your heart chakra, held this Navratri season. Together, we'll explore the Feminine energy of compassion, the sacred practice of loving another deeply while remaining rooted in love and connection with yourself, drawing inspiration from the Goddess Lakshmi who pours abundance outward while never losing her own radiance.
